Applications are open for an ePain Librarian
Introduction
ePain is a multidisciplinary resource intended for all health and social care professionals working with patients suffering from pain. This programme is accessible for all and raises awareness of Pain in patients.
ePain is a collaboration between the Faculty of Pain Medicine, the British Pain Society and e-Learning for Healthcare. It is provided by NHS England.
ePain is administered via the e-PAIN Executive made up of the Clinical Leads, librarian and representatives from the FPM team and e-LfH. The project is managed and maintained an eLfH Project Manager with the support of Instructional Designers; the team at e-LfH are responsible for designing and developing the sessions.
ePain Library
BJA Education (formerly CEACCP) is a joint venture between the British Journal of Anaesthesia and the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Together, they have produced many articles related to Pain which can now be found in the ePain eLibrary module.
The aim of this role is to maintain and update the ePain eLibrary.
The role is appointed for 12 months in the first instance, subject to review.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Regular review of the eLibrary resources
- Ensuring resources are kept up to date
- Adding relevant resources via the clinical leads
- Maintain liaison with wider group
- Attendance at ePain online meetings
Meetings
- Typically meetings take place quarterly and are virtual.
