The Faculty welcomes Science, skills and safety: a framework for medical student education in anaesthesia, intensive care, pain and perioperative medicine

This important framework, started initially by the Royal College of Anaesthetists, developed into a wider project benefiting from the inclusion of intensive care and the lessons Pain Medicine has learned from Essential Pain Management UK.  EPM UK is now established in almost a third of medical schools and we hope to see that number continue to grow.  Acute and chronic pain is an essential pillar of undergraduate education for all clinicians.
