Investigations and findings

Most investigations had been performed prior to the consultation however some results needed to be obtained from other hospitals. Pelvic and transvaginal ultrasounds were normal, as was a diagnostic laparoscopy 12 months previously. Tumour markers including Ca125 were normal, alongside colonoscopy. Screening for sexually transmitted infections were also negative.
